Tidetec has visited the french turbine manufacturer MJ2, who deliver a turbine that is perfecly fit for the tidetec turning solution. We have agreed to work on a pilot location and a technical solution together.

“These are exciting times, and the first full scale turnable turbine is within reach now!” sais CEO, Arne Kollandsrud. The turbine is developed specifically for low head, and is a very environmentally friendly turbine regarding fish friendlyness, noise and visual impact.

We are now going into a mapping phase to seek out the best, and most commercially viable location for a full scale test. We will keep you posted on the progress.
